LUKE TRIVELINE

My name is Luke Triveline, I am the owner and head trainer at Fitness Evolution Strength and Conditioning.  I have been a strength coach and personal trainer since 2005.  I received my degree in Health and Kinesiology from Purdue University, West Lafayette in 2008.  After graduating, I worked for a few gyms but was unhappy with the service and attention the clients received.  I decided to open my own facility where I can truly focus on the client and give them private, individual service.

I love to play sports and have been an avid weight lifter for over 18 years.  Everyday I try to find new ways to challenge myself both mentally and physically.  I thoroughly enjoy helping my clients reach their potential and try to find different techniques to challenge their bodies.  I believe that everyone has the ability to change and can have the body and health they are looking for.


I am a  Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists are professionals who apply scientific knowledge to train athletes for the primary goal of improving athletic performance.They conduct sport-specific testing sessions, design and implement safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs and provide guidance regarding nutrition and injury prevention. The NSCA is the leader in the research and education of strength and conditioning professionals.


I am certified through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). The ACSM has 45,000 members and certified professionals from 90 countries around the globe, representing 70 occupations within the sports medicine field. They are a global leader in sports medicine and exercise science.


I also am a Certified Sports Nutrition Specialist through the National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA). NESTA provides cutting-edge techniques for increasing sports performance, reducing recovery time, and enhancing the overall well-being.


As well as a personal trainer, certified strength and conditioning coach, and sports nutrition specialist, I am the assistant varsity wrestling coach for Lake Central High School since 2008.

"I have worked out with Luke for 6 years now and I continue to do so. He has helped me progress in physical and mental toughness throughout the years. "As a freshman, in 2008 I wrestled in the 103 pound weight class, I weighed less than 100 pounds. In 2012, my senior year, I wrestled in the 126 pound weight class. Luke understood this and helped me with a personal plan to gain that mass. "Luke took me as a 95 pound kid and made me to a 150 pound man within 4 years of high school. He taught me hard work and dedication not only in the weight room, but also on the wrestling mat. He helped me gain the weight I needed in the offseason and lose the weight i needed to during the wrestling season, while maintaining the muscle we worked so hard for. Not only did he help me gain weight and muscle, but he also helped me gain much needed confidence that carried on to the wrestling mat and into my everyday life. "Working out for me has become an obsession thanks to Luke! I love how he always is mixing up his workouts and pushing me to my max. He incorporates certain movements within each workout that help me with my sports: tennis and golf. The endurance and agility training I do at Fitness Evolution helps me tremendously on and off the court and course. "Having been a group class and fitness junkie for years and continually moving to keep challenging myself and keep my motivation, I found Luke's gym about 3.5 years ago. I was impressed with his knowledge and his drive to continue his education in the fitness industry. Watching him pursue his own goals by competing in competitions and challenging races has been a motivation for me, as well. In April of 2015, Luke challenged me to a new goal of competing in a power lifting competition.  I accepted his challenge, trusted his training program and less than 6 months competed and set Indiana state records in deadlift, bench and curl in my age/weight division in October 2015.


After the competition and a two month illness, he changed me to training more for fat loss. Since starting this type of training and his constant reminder to be more compliant with my eating plan, I have lost 11 pounds and about 8% body fat.   The results I am getting have made me more motivated than ever to look and feel the best I can."
